The Infortrend ESVA F70 is a hybrid model featuring both Fibre Channel (FC) ports and iSCSI ports. The F70 is designed to support a powerful, reliable and flexible FC SAN. With high-performance drives, it can satisfactorily handle demanding transactional workloads. By connecting with expansion enclosures, the total capacity can be scaled up to 112 drives. By consolidating up to 12 ESVA systems into a storage pool, the maximum capacity can be further expanded to 1344 drives. The as-neededscaling allows users to increase storage for top-tier applications in the most cost-effective manner. In addition, the iSCSI ports enable users to achieve highly cost-effective remote replication.
